ProphetX adds Parlay Mode for multi-leg sports trades

The dedicated interface surfaces markets with parlay quotes and keeps a single trade slip open across sports and leagues.

ProphetX has introduced Parlay Mode, a dedicated interface for finding and building multi-leg sports contracts from markets that have parlay quotes available. The update packages an existing request-for-quote parlay system into a single browsing and trading screen, rather than creating a new type of contract.

NextPredict reported that the feature allows users to build parlays across sports, games and player props, with added player-prop milestones. Users can keep a trade slip open while moving among games, leagues and market types, then combine selections from different sports in one transaction.

Parlay Mode is available for NFL and college football, tennis, MLB, WNBA, UFC, Major League Soccer and several European soccer leagues. NFL offerings include game lines, touchdown contracts and passing, rushing and receiving props; soccer offerings include game lines, alternate spreads and totals.

The underlying mechanism asks market makers to quote a combination and state how much can be traded at that price. After a trader accepts, the market maker has a final chance to confirm, reprice or decline the order before it executes. Quotes are temporary, meaning both the displayed price and available liquidity can change.

ProphetX documentation says a parlay can contain two to 12 legs and is treated as one instrument, with a combined price and an all-or-nothing payout. In one illustration, a four-leg selection across MLS, UFC, college football and the NFL was quoted at 12.17 cents, with $60 of liquidity available at that time.

The interface arrives after ProphetX first launched its request-for-quote parlay system in 2025, before it became a federally regulated exchange, and subsequently carried that mechanism onto its Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated platform.

The rollout coincided with heavier football trading. TickerTracker data showed a record daily total notional volume of about $10 million on Sept. 12, while non-combo NFL and college-football trading reached $23.8 million from Sept. 9 through Sept. 14.

ProphetX uses the traditional sportsbook term “parlay,” while many prediction-market rivals call comparable multi-leg products “combos.” Kalshi was the first federally regulated prediction-market exchange to offer such products in 2025, later rolling them out broadly as Combos. The broader category has become increasingly prominent: Aldrin Research data cited by Barron’s found that sports and combo trading made up 91% of prediction-market volume over the NFL’s opening weekend.

Multi-leg contracts can amplify reported notional volume because prediction-market contracts settle at $1, while a low-priced combination can be bought for substantially less than that face value. For traders, Parlay Mode’s practical change is a more focused route to assembling and requesting a price for those combinations.
