High Roller says ROLR soft launch is complete ahead of October target

The company says its prediction-markets platform is nearing a public U.S. rollout after an invitation-only phase.

High Roller Technologies said it had completed a soft launch of its ROLR prediction-markets business and expected a full U.S. launch soon, marking the next stage in its move away from online casino operations.

The company’s Sept. 24 virtual-conference presentation described ROLR as targeting a share of a projected $50 billion total addressable market. It said technology and customer-acquisition partnerships underpin the strategy.

High Roller had previously scheduled an invitation-only ROLR platform launch for Sept. 15 and targeted a public commercial launch by the end of October. That launch remains conditional on the successful completion of its closed beta and final technical and operational readiness.

The invitation-only phase was intended to put the platform into controlled live use, rather than open it to the general public. High Roller said it would use participant data and feedback to refine the product, test operating processes, and assess customer experience, stability, scalability and operational readiness.

As reported in August, High Roller had already said it was narrowing its business around the ROLR brand and prediction markets. ROLR is the company’s prediction-markets brand, while High Roller describes itself as a NYSE-listed online gaming and prediction-markets company trading under the ticker ROLR.

Its marketing plan includes a definitive agreement signed with Leverage Game Media in April. The social-media publisher was designated as a marketing and distribution partner for High Roller’s planned regulated U.S. event-based product, with a remit to support customer acquisition and brand awareness. Leverage Game Media says its owned channels generate more than 1 billion annual views and reach more than 5 million followers.

High Roller also introduced an eight-week, free-to-trade ROLR Challenge as a pre-launch marketing effort. The competition offered more than $100,000 in guaranteed prizes and giveaways, alongside a chance at a $25 million grand prize, and was available to eligible adult residents of participating U.S. states.

The planned rollout comes as interest in event contracts grows. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission said in June that trading volume across CFTC-registered prediction markets exceeded $25 billion in 2025, while proposing rules that would identify event contracts that could be found contrary to the public interest and barred from listing or clearing through registered entities. The agency defines prediction markets as markets where event-contract derivatives trade.
