Yahoo Finance ends Polymarket data partnership after removing prediction hub
Polymarket will remain an advertising partner across Yahoo, while the companies say they are open to similar collaborations.
Yahoo Finance has ended its partnership with Polymarket, closing an arrangement that had placed the prediction-market platform’s data in a dedicated hub on Yahoo Finance’s website.
The hub, which displayed probability data on economic, government and market outcomes, was taken down in April. The companies had begun the exclusive data partnership in November 2025.
In a statement published by Yahoo, a company spokesperson said the prior agreement had been intended to display relevant prediction-market data across Yahoo Finance and that the specific arrangement had ended. Polymarket declined to comment.
The deal had made Polymarket Yahoo Finance’s exclusive prediction-market partner. Its probabilities were paired with Yahoo Finance news, quotes and analysis from Yahoo and its partners, according to accounts of the original arrangement.
The end of the data and product relationship does not end all commercial ties between the companies. Yahoo said Polymarket continues to be an advertising partner across its properties, and said it remains open to similar types of partnerships.
The arrangement was part of a wider push by media companies to incorporate prediction-market forecasts into broadcasts, websites and print publications. Yahoo noted that prediction-market odds reflect the balance of trading on the platform, where consumers can place wagers on subjects including sports, elections and financial markets.
